Industry Breakdown

The Manufacturing sector emerged as the hardest-hit sector with 4,537 workers across 47 notices. Separately, Information & Technology reported 2,989 workers.

Layoff Type Analysis

Closures accounted for 25% of all affected workers nationally, with the majority of events being layoffs rather than full closures.

Largest Layoffs

Topping the list was GE Transportation in Erie, Pennsylvania, reporting 1,500 affected workers. Aramark followed with 1,078 workers.
