SEC 8-K Filing Intelligence
Track restructuring disclosures, layoff signals, and corporate events from public company filings.
Explore: filter by ticker, company, event type and filing date (inclusive; last 30 days by default). The charts follow your filters; a company name opens its filings here; EDGAR links open the source.
How to explore
- No place drill here — SEC filings are by company; for state → county → city use Search layoffs.
- “Layoff Signals” keeps only filings whose text contains restructuring or layoff language.
- The counts describe the rows loaded so far; Load more extends the list.
- Tabs: Recent Filings, Top Filers, WARN Cross-Reference (filings matched to a WARN notice), Filing Trends (last 90 days).

When a company files a WARN layoff notice and an 8-K material event, it signals significant corporate restructuring. These cross-referenced events are where the real intelligence lives. Rows are grouped by a ticker we assign to each WARN filing by matching the employer name to SEC registrant data — that assignment is an algorithmic estimate, not verified by the filing agency, and a WARN notice and an 8-K here are not required to be near each other in time. Matching rules: methodology.
