The Information & Technology sector dominated layoff filings with 9,955 workers across 56 notices. Meanwhile, Manufacturing reported 6,406 workers.

Closures accounted for 28% of all affected workers nationally, with the majority of events being layoffs rather than full closures.

Largest Layoffs

The biggest impact was at United States Cellular Corporation (USCC) in Omaha, Nebraska, reporting 4,100 affected workers. Inter-Con Security Systems followed with 1,058 workers.
